Ongoing Cleaning Built Around Des Peres Family Life
Des Peres households tend to run on full calendars: practices at Des Peres Park, errands at West County Center, and commutes up and down I-270. With all that going on, the house usually gets whatever time is left, which is not much. A recurring cleaning hands that job to a team that shows up on a set schedule, works through the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, and leaves you with evenings that belong to you again.
You choose how often we come: weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. We send the same trained team whenever we can, and they learn the layout of your split-level or ranch, the rooms that see the most traffic, and the small preferences that matter to you. Each visit covers the essentials, with extra detail tasks rotated in over time. For more on how we serve the city, visit our Des Peres house cleaning page, or try the instant online estimate.

Your Regular Des Peres Cleaning, Room by Room
A recurring visit is designed to keep a busy home comfortable from one week to the next. These core tasks happen every time, and you can flag any area that deserves extra focus.
Recurring visits keep things steady once a home is in good shape. If your Des Peres house is overdue for attention on vents, ceiling fans, and baseboards, a deep cleaning first gives regular visits a clean starting point. Laundry folding, dishes, and inside the oven or fridge can be added through our add-on services.

How Often Des Peres Homes Need Us
Weekly with kids and dogs
Larger Des Peres homes with children, a dog, and a finished lower level used as a playroom usually do best weekly. Floors and bathrooms simply see too much use to wait two weeks.
Every two weeks
Biweekly is a comfortable middle ground for many ranch and split-level homes off Ballas or Manchester. The house stays presentable, and the team still has time to rotate detail tasks through each room.
Monthly for empty nesters
Couples whose kids have moved out often keep a larger family home that sees light daily use. A monthly visit keeps dust, bathrooms, and floors under control without paying for more than you need.
Fall leaf season
Wooded lots mean leaves, twigs, and grit tracked in from October through December. Some clients bump to more frequent visits during fall, then return to their usual plan once the yard settles down.
Keeping Up With Des Peres Ranches and Split-Levels
Much of Des Peres was built in the 1950s and 1960s, and neighborhoods like Des Peres Estates and Manchester Meadows still have plenty of brick ranches and split-levels on generous, tree-covered lots. Those houses usually have several levels and multiple entry points, from the front door to the garage to a walkout lower level. Each one brings in its own share of dirt, so regular attention to floors and entryways is what keeps the whole house feeling clean.
Homes along the Ballas Road corridor and near Old Des Peres Road often have big windows facing the trees, which look great but show dust on sills quickly. Our recurring teams catch those surfaces on a rotation so they never get out of hand. We also have regular clients just west in Manchester, which helps us keep dependable weekday slots open across this part of West County.

Breanna always does a fantastic job cleaning our house, especially since we have two dogs and she goes out of her way to insure that all the dog hair is cleaned up on top and underneath all the carpet throw rugs and uses wood floor cleaning products that I suggest…..trying to keep up with cleaning the dog hair is a never ending task, but she does such a good job that I can rest for a few days. She cleans the base boards and any extra items we may need cleaning. She is so personable and is always smiling , in a good mood. She does such a great cleaning job, she deserves 10 stars.

Recurring House Cleaning Questions in Des Peres
Yes, as long as the levels are part of the living space you want cleaned. In a split-level, that often means bedrooms upstairs, the main living area, and a family room on the lower level. We clean them all on each recurring visit and rotate detail work through them. Unfinished storage areas are not included unless you ask.
Most of our recurring visits happen during the school day, which many families prefer. We set an arrival window that works around drop-off, and the team aims to finish well before pickup. If you have a specific time limit, let the office know when you set up service so the plan and the team size fit it.
Wooded yards and dogs go together here, and so do muddy prints on kitchen tile. At each visit we sweep or vacuum first to lift dried mud and grit, then mop hard floors and spend extra time near the back door. Weekly visits work best for homes with large dogs that use the yard daily.
No long-term contract is required. You pick a frequency that fits your household, and you can change it as life changes. If you need to move from weekly to biweekly, or pause during a long trip, call the office during business hours, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, and we will adjust your schedule.
We try hard to keep the same team at your home, but people do get sick or take vacations. When that happens, the office will either reschedule with you or send another trained, background-checked team member who has notes about your home. You will always be told ahead of time so nothing comes as a surprise.
Yes. Many Des Peres ranches have a finished lower level used as a family room, office, or playroom. We dust, vacuum, mop, and clean any bathroom down there during each regular visit. If the space includes a bar sink or kitchenette, we wipe the counters and sink the same way we do upstairs.
Yes. Eco-friendly products are available, and many Des Peres families with young children or pets choose them. We bring all our own supplies and equipment for each visit. If you prefer a specific brand you already use, leave it out with a note and the team will use it in place of ours.
Regular clients can often add an extra visit or move their usual visit closer to a gathering. If you are hosting family at home before or after an event at the Lodge, call the office a week or two ahead and we will try to fit your home in on a day that works.
